I have been also using static pages for my Mage sites, and I think it gives a real boost to my traffic since this page is highly optimized for my keywords. Not sure if anybody else is doing that, but I'm using some techniques similar to the "google sniper" approach, using very specific keywords that have little competition and then backing that main static page up with a bunch (100-500) more related keywords in regular blog posts. Not sure how many others are doing this, I suspect I'm not alone!

Hope this helps

Hello Linda,

Thanks for your how to above. I made one static page but the title on its navigation tab above is the title of the article. How can I change this to HOME? Also, the template already has a Home page and there is an article on this page generated automatically by the CPMage. But I don't want this as Home page.

Another thing, why images automatically posted are out of sense (specifically, babies) when I don't have baby, babies, infants, kids, children as keywords?

Thanks for your help.

Hi Anita,

A good example is found on this site. Each time you visit you will see the same front page. I simply created a page (not a blog post) in my wp-admin and went to Settings/General and chose the page I created to be my home page. You can also make a blog post and do the same thing ... you would just choose the blog post you want to be your home page in your Admin General Settings.
